Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data JAC & RAC TRANS SRL collects through this
website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is written to
describe what this site actually does — not a general description of what a
website might do.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect, and when

2.1 The enquiry form

This is the only place on the site where we ask you for personal data. When
you submit the form we receive:

• your company name;
• your name;
• your email address;
• your phone number, if you choose to give one — this field is optional;
• the country you operate in;
• what you need from us, how many drivers, and your timeline;
• whatever you write in the free-text field about your routes and operation.

Please do not put anything sensitive in the free-text field. It is there to
describe your routes and equipment, and nothing about a driver enquiry requires
health data, identity-document numbers or similar. If you send us that kind of
information anyway, we will delete it.

2.2 Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard technical information about requests to
the site, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. We do not
use these logs to profile visitors.

The form itself is configured not to store your IP address or
browser user-agent alongside your message.

2.3 Cookies

This site sets only the cookies WordPress and the theme need in order to work.
There is no analytics, advertising or tracking on this site. See
the Terms & Cookies page for detail.

3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not send newsletters. If
that ever changes we will ask you separately and you will be free to say no.

4. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship:
  24 months from your last message, then deleted.

  it matches how long the company actually wants to keep leads.
• Enquiries that become a client relationship: kept for the
  duration of the relationship and afterwards for as long as Romanian
  accounting and commercial law requires.
• Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider.

5. Who else sees it

Your enquiry is read by the people at JAC & RAC TRANS SRL who handle recruitment and
transport. Beyond that, it is handled by:

• our hosting provider, which runs the server the site and its database sit

• our email provider, which carries the notification message.

These act as processors on our instructions. We do not sell your data, and we
do not share it with anyone for their own purposes.

6. Transfers outside the EU

We do not intend to transfer your data outside the European Economic Area. If
that ever becomes necessary, we will only do it with the safeguards the GDPR
requires, and we will update this policy first.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

• tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything inaccurate;
• delete your data;
• restrict what we do with it;
• give you your data in a portable format;
• stop processing based on our legitimate interests, where you object.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. That does not
affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

If your request is complicated we may need longer, and we will tell you why.

8. Complaints

If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — it is
usually the fastest way to fix it. You also have the right to complain to the
Romanian supervisory authority:

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry records is limited to
people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable
technical and organisational measures to protect what you send us.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change
the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your contact
details, we will tell you directly.
